You only laugh out loud due to being odd sadly. If god made adam and rib chick perfect, they then had children. Where did all the vd disease etc come from as they could not of caught it off anyone, as they had perfection passed on. QED the bible has yet another mistake in it. Or did evil god create all this just to cause pain and suffering or what??

@Amanda, "Over thousands of years, this degeneration has produced all sorts of genetic mistakes in living things." You're not suggesting something evolved I hope.

"I have Faith in God and I believe the Bible to be completely factual."

So you believe the universe was created in seven days?

It's a good story.

I believe the universe was created in 6 of Gods days who are we to say exactly how long one of those days was.

Take a look at this video on YouTube: and please WATCH IT TO THE END that's where the answers are

The bible is fact. No human could make up such bull shot. I especially like the bit where the guys comes back alive but nothing will ever out do the turning water into wine. The guy turned water into wine. Yes my friends there is a god (and I'm not talking about all the other joking ones. I'm talking about the real one) I hope he didn't walk on the water before he turned it into wine. That's my only concern.

Amanda, thanks for sharing the video. 'Why is there something and not nothing' is a powerful question

ok as a work of literature its very important, as a work of history its also very important and as more is found through archeology it is supported. but the main thing about the bible is that it is there to instruct people its easy just to rubbish a book because you dont believe it or because you dont agree with it. yes its not always followed very well or used very sensibly but for those that believe in it it is invaulable and inerant. to be honest if we could all follow it properly there wouldnt be many problems as we would love God with all our hearts and each other as ourselves and if we managed that there wouldnt be much wrong with the world. but maybe thats a small minded ignorant or plain stupid view as many people (posting on here) seem to believe of anyone reading the bible

Actually it was the "believers" that used the word ignorant, it's the believers that have been getting angry because others won't blindly follow them.

Mr Skinner i believe if you check my postings you will see i have not been getting angry at all.
Many of the harsh words and criticisms are from other people.

Have a great day everyone and may the Lords Blessings shine on you all.

Fact is, many with a strong opinion on this haven't read more than a couple of para's of the Bible since Primary School. You can read Mark, one of the biographies of Jesus, in about an hour. Why not check it out?

You can read Darwin in a fairly short time too.

There you go!! How pompous of you to assume you know the factual truth about what people you do not know read and when!
Is this how you arrive at your judgment on fact by assuming.
The fact is not all people believe all they read.

Miss E. McAfee:
Haven't bothered reading most of your rubbish, but 'evolution' ! Have you no comprehension? Why are monkey still in the zoo? Because they are STILL evolving. Even in my lifetime I've observed changes in some species, in fact, it never stops. What do you think is happening with bacteria when they start becoming immune to antibiotics? According to you, that CAN'T happen, because evolution doesn't exist. You see now, why Atheist's talk about god believers having blinkers on. Come back in 10,000 years, and see what's happened to the creatures you once knew as 'monkeys'.

@ C. Birks,
A valid point about the strengthened resistance of bacteria against antibiotics. It is also a worrying one. It is a good example of how living matter adapts to survive even microscopic life like bacteria. The reason for evolution is for the strongest to survive by overcoming and adapting to each new threatening challenge. Nature can be very cruel in it's selectivity. Take care and stay strong.

The bible the worst history book ever!!! Glad i've been able to read it with an open mind (without the aid of being influenced by any religion) and understand that it is a book of fiction be it the worst of its kind.

So ancient man created parasites, bacteria, diseases and VD. Are you that daft?? Really how childish are you to assume cave men created this. I thought you lot claim creation as gods work.

Lies. My dad died of cancer. He was asked what faith he was and if he wanted a minister. He told them to sood off. They insisted he had to have it on his chart, he told them to put 'bloody Totem Pole Worshiper.' That is what they put. He died strong in the conviction god was a joke. So that blows your religious BS out the water. I was there and he never wavered even unto death (putting it in words for bible bashers to get the message lol)
