I got a Hornby train set for £20 cheaper than i've seen elsewhere and a HM forces troop carrier with £20 off. These were both things i was going to get for my Son anyway so i'm pleased and the savings do add up.

Why don't you to The Works bookshop and buy them all a book each at very reduced prices, something to suit everyone's tastes in the Works?

Skappers
Sorry you have found nothing, but I have got some lovely bargains, a vastly reduced cycle helmet, 2 cycle locks for £7.49 odd, instead of £29.99, garden spade and loppers at hugely reduced prices, Cerutti cologne for £10 odd and various other items.

Saves me a lot of time shopping around, I am very pleased with my deals this year which will last me for years.

Bargains ... all relative though, bargain is in the eye of the beholder, or it is buyer?

i think all the so called bargains this year so far have been crap. maybe it just suits a different market this year, im not sure. all i know is that there appeared to be much better deals last year with wiis, ps3s and xboxes, cameras, and the disconts were huge. I my self bought 2 Police watches for £30 each, when they were on sale at other places for £110-120. thats what i call a "black friday" deal im afraid. These deals feel like they're just getting rid of old stock.

GHD's .... £50 from £122 amazon price, with an RRP of £129 ... now that's a BARGAIN!

There's a sale, then there's a "Black Friday" sale. With all the hype Amazon have generated this week, you'd be expecting £50 Xbox's and similar discounts like last year (which Amazon themselves can't help but keep mentioning!). I think that's what people were expecting, seeing as electronics in general seem to be the most expensive and sought after products on the market at the moment. Don't get me wrong, I've seen some good deals here and there, but clearly people were expecting more than just %30 reductions or at the least applied to more of the expensive stuff on the market.

Who knows, the day is still young, maybe some more epic deals will pop up, I just hope I'm there when they do!
