I ordered a t-shirt from amazon.com as even with shipping it was cheaper than the UK and i received a notification to say it has been dispatched via iParcel. I have never heard of them and their website doesn't really say much. I was just wondering if anyone in the UK has ordered off amazon.com and had their parcels delivered by iParcel and if so did it arrive on time and undamaged?
I would also like to know what happens when it gets to the UK? Does it get passed onto a courier (UPS,Fedex,Parcelforce or even dare I say Yodel!) or does it go by regular royal mail?
Sorry for the questions its just im anxious that my order actually arrives!!

I haven't received my parcel yet but the tracking shows it landed in the UK yesterday, five days after ordering from Amazon.com. So far so good! It would be a rare day for Amazon to use a service that wasn't up to snuff. There have been exceptions of course, but I trust Amazon implicitly to make things right if they go wrong.

I have also been sent an e mail from Amazon that my order of Kindle USB cable has been shipped by IPARCEL to India and I am still patiently waiting, well past a month of the due date promised by Amazon. Trying to track down my order in the Amazon.com draw up the response that No matches found for the Order # mentioned!!! Krishnadas, India.

And why is Amazon.com quiet on so many posts on inadequate services of IPARCEL?

Maybe there haven't been widespread problems. Every single service is bound to have a few bad experiences no matter how reliable they are perceived to be, you only hear about bad service, not good. If there aren't a large percentage of bad experiences, noone will write about it.
If your item is that late, ask Amazon directly instead of trying to track it yourself. I've found Live Chat helpful, but sometimes a phone call is all it takes.

iparcel is terrible with regards to tracking. yesterday a parcel i'm expecting had left uk and was apparently in germany, today it's back in the uk.
previous parcels had terrible tracking though they did arrive within the time frame. however, with a 2 week window, it'd be hard not to get it here in time

Any luck yet R. Krishnadas. If not, get yourself a refund, you've waited too long and that's not fair any more to you

i dont like i-parcel. they are slower than the regular post. I hope that for faster shipping Amazon.co.uk will still be using UPS
