Only waited in two days for a One day delivery having signed up for Prime. Tracked item and is awaiting delivery from HDNL depot. REALLY...Amazon is this the best service you can contract to handle your deliveries.? Please review your customer satisfaction as I think you'll find HDNL are letting you down.

I know the feeling, ordered a TV yesterday with extra 3d glasses. Both on next day delivery, nothing arrived by midday so I looked at the tracking info. City link had no updates after scanning it in on pickup, hdnl had the glasses out for delivery.... Contacted customer services to be told the TV had been given to the wrong couriers so I should see it tomorrow :-\ and as usual hdnl have just updated their info claiming they attempted delivery at 10am and a card was left.... Guess what? 4 people where in the house at that time, nothing was heard and no card was left... Going to have fun on the phone tomorrow methinks :-[ Why Amazon, why?

Tracked an item...stated it had been delivered...not received it. Not happy. Now I have to go through the process of chasing the item, and/or trying to get a refund. HDNL suck...Amazon...you're getting lazy.

Amazon please stop using HDNL they are absolutely useless and lie about attempting to deliver and leaving a card - NEVER HAPPENED!

HDNL are absolutely untrustworthy Amazon, they are not honouring their obligations to deliver; one order of mine was delivered to the wrong address and left outside without ANY attempt to get a signature - even from the wrong consignee! Another order when tracked was shown as an attempted delivery and a card left ........ I was in all day AND NO card was left! - Come on Amazon this distributor is severly damaging your reputation as a reliable retailer. HDNL are just going through the motions

Steve Minton says:
Amazon most likely have a contract period with Yodel, and with the amount of *ahem* signed for, delivered, card-left *bs* deliveries they are meeting their targets so Amazon can't walk. I would hope this will change once the contract ends.

Secondly, it cannot be stressed enough, especially at this time of year if you are worrying about receiving your parcels in time for the festive season - YOUR CONTRACT IS WITH AMAZON. If Yodel are performing shennannigans at your expense then call Amazon and DEMAND a replacement/solution in time for Christmas and make them aware how angry you are. Don't wait - do it today.

Really, my post is VERY important. Have a great Christmas.

I have waited for three days for my next day delivery from HDNL and given up! Have just cancelled my prime membership as with these jokers it is a waste of time. Amazon please take note.

I won't bore you with all the gory details just the main bits which echo so much of the above: amazon prime, HDNL, waited in all day, tracking info says no one in and card left ( lie and lie) , complain to amazon who have heard it before but chase up HDNL. Next day wait in, no delivery. Tracking says no one in (lie) so delivered andleft in garden! Nothing in garden. Complain to Amazon. 2 days later neighbour from 3 doors away (this is a street with clearlylabelled houses and easy access ) finds package (wet and knackered) in their garden. Complain to amazon who send replacement via another company (dpd? Can't remember). This carrier specify 2 hour timeslot, name the driver, and he apologises because he was about 2mins outside the slot!. Bit of a contrast between the 2 couriers don't you think! HDNL are numpties and liars who are letting amazon down big-time. No point shopping with a company when it becomes such a hassle. Do something about it Amazon!

Guaranteed next day delivery by HDNL. No delivery, no card. No way to contact HDNL by phone without number on card. Why are Amazon using this awful company?

I called HDNL without a card, on their website: 0871 977 0800 (or look up a local rate number on saynoto0870 .com), it says you need the 8 digit number from the calling card, just put in 12345678, worked for me!

Have to agree with above posts - same experience of lack of delivery with lies from HDNL/Yodel. Totally wasted my time waiting in for them, and then having to go via their distribution centre, costing me money and time on one occasion. Amazon did at least offer delivery by a courier of my choice another time. CityLink have always been excellent, but Amazon need to collate feedback and use it as evidence to pull out of the contract with HDNL/Yodel, as they are ruining shopping with Amazon for so many customers. I, like many others, like to use Amazon for convenience, but when you lose the convenience Amazon loses their USP; after all Amazon is not the cheapest so they must get convenience and delivery right.

I went for the 'Special Offer' one day delivery option for my son's Samsung 24" Monitor. It was meant to arrive on Monday. The delivery status claimed at 4.17pm no-one was at home and they left a card. Someone WAS at home and no card was left. It's now Wednesday evening and still no monitor. Amazon Customer Service are friendly but of no help. I think I'm talking to someone in the US but I need to talk to a HDNL van driver in Reading, UK.

AoN says:
HDNL are Utterly USELESS and liars. I have three items that say 'delivered' on my Amazon page. The driver hasn't been anywhere near my house. (Supposedly Prime delivery in one day)!!!!!!

Amazon (in India) are polite and totally hopeless. They won't do anything about it and don't seem to listen to the endless customers telling them that HDNL are cheap for a reason: they hire people who can't find a simple address and care even less. Toatal waste of my time. Amazon you should be ashamed of this.......and to finish you e-mails by saying you are a customer-centric company is an insult to your customers.

I've had pretty much the same experience. Signed up to Prime in time for Christmas so I would get my deliveries in time. Most of them are time sensitive as I need to visit certain family members who live miles away and can only do it once. I was due to receive 5 separate deliveries today. 3 were received on time and in excellent condition, all of which were delivered by a different (competent) company. However, the two items that were bundled together for delivery by HDNL never arrived despite the 'guaranteed' one day delivery. I have waited in all day just for these deliveries, what a waste of time. HDNL are not fulfilling their contract made with Amazon and I just wish Amazon would address this as they're currently making promises they cannot keep.

I order many items each month from Amazon and do not have a problem with HDNL, I have more problems with City Sprint. Maybe it depends which area you live.

Also I think Amazon Customer Service are excellent, they always respond quickly and try their best to resolve any issues. What are those complaining expecting them to do? Try sending an email that seems to be the best way of contacting the Customer Service dept.

The one item which Amazon lets it self down is the delivery of hard drives which is the worst I have seen and can lead to damage due to being posted in a jiffy bag with no protection.

Talk about being stressed, this week alone 2 items have not been delivered by "next day" delivery, this is what we pay Amazon Prime for. One of the items turned up 2 days later, tried to speak to the driver about why the box was all squashed it turned out he couldnt speak English!!!! Am awaiting a 3rd delivery due today - we shall see!

Call Amazon on 02070847911 and tell them.........they really don't believe how bad this is, so they must be told. Amazon use them because they are cheap. They don't care about service. And of course they pay no tax in this country!!

HDNL have ALWAYS messed up these deliveries.......they did exactly the same last year as they hire new drivers at Christmas, who appear to have no knowledge of a route and (in my case) can't even read a clear address on a gate on a main road!!!

I waited 2 days for my delivery, it was terrible waiting for my xmas gifts. Cannot get hold of HDNL - amazon also tried. i was very disappointed with this service.

Same issues as many of the above. On the tracker, HDNL claim to have delivered two items yesterday but they did not. I was unable to contact HDNL as their automated telephone system requires an eight digit number from a card which they didn't leave!! That said, Amazon have been very good and as soon as I called them, said it was their responsibility and re-ordered my items for express delivery. Just hope the courier isn't HDNL again.. Presumably, HDNL have some liability with Amazon for all these missing parcels. Perhaps the drivers see them as their Christmas bonus..

I also waited in all day for a delivery. Tracking stated it had been delivered,NO it had not! Now have to wait in again tom! Also one of the items I wanted for xmas is now unavailable! Terrible useless service by HDNL. I asked for a different courier but amazon couldn't promise this. I have been using Amazon for years with no problem, this has made me think again about ordering from them in the future. Just have to see if it turns up tom!!
