F. Olinsky says:
I have been using this machine daily for 4 years , sometimes 50 times in one day.
I am a professional cook. I have one beef about it...why can I not find a supplier of spare parts in the UK?
There are plenty in America, in Aus and of coures in Germany but I need a new knife urgently for one of my bowls and I cannot find one that does not take days to arrive and big postage costs from abroad and very likely import duty as well....not good!!!

The are no spare parts to this machine. There are accessories. There is no knife. It is not sold or serviced in the USA. Are you talking about a Thermomix?

Mrs Augusto. As your based i. The UK I wonder if you have come across a fool proof Yorkshire pudding recipe that is Gluten Free. I've had a look on the tinterweb, but most of the picture of ones made in the thermi look a bit flat. Heavens forbid I will actually have to do some beating with a spoon!

I keep trying to avoid this thread, but others keep posting on it and bringing it back to my attention - its not fair - I keep thinking: Thermomix or save the money for the loft conversion fund - its enough to buy the shower, loo and sink for the en-suite bathroom!

So is it like a mantra....you say it over and it convinces you that you don't want it?Lol!x

With me it's my age that I repeat myself...now a Friand, so I've heard, could help greatly with my condition!

The problem with a mantra is that it just keeps the subject going round in my head.

Friand on its way - would you like a couple of fresh raspberries and a sprinkling of icing suger to top it off?

hi, I'm a demonstrator in Chiswick London. I do 3 free demonstrations of the amazing Thermomix, at my home, every week. Come and see for yourself. I love it so much I'm also recruiting a team of demonstrators. Please contact me via my website www.thethermoqueen.co.uk, or contact@thethermoqueen.co.uk. for either a demonstration or to know more about becoming a demonstrator. Natarsha

F. Olinsky, you can buy replacement blades from Thermomix UK. http://ukthermomix.com/ They just don't advertise them or any other spares or accessories on their website. Suggest you give them a ring 01344 622 344.

I am at this moment awaiting delivery of my replacement 'knife' Thanks all!
This is no criticism of my Thermomix it has been the best investment I ever made. I use it so much every day so it was bound to suffer a bit after all this time...especially as I use one of the bowls to grind grain and stuff for my quail!

Fay - stop it stop it stop it! You are not helping! Please tell us about all the problems and hassels you have with your Thermomix, and the things it does badly.

Yeah! and why we don't want/need have to have one!NOW!x

In reply to an earlier post on 15 May 2013 14:08:25 BDT
F. Olinsky says:
It does not do anything badly. It is a bit heavy to cart around but no problem...I take it everywhere even on holiday!
I would not be able to have pasta if not.
Once upon a time it was a luxury and very expensive to own a Magimix...people who cooked swore by them now they are everywhere. Thermomix is like that only way way better. My first Magimix cost a small fortune...more than our mortgage payment for two months...Thermomix is no more expensive pro rata. I can't see what your beef is about?

Bearman says:
Simply because I am saving up for something else, but have a major case of Thermomix lust!
