Suzy, we all care about you. There is only one person who upset the apple cart and that was Darren, miserable little worm, of course we can,t all agree all of the time, it wouldn,t be natural but generally speaking we re a pretty cool bunch of people and it would be such a shame to let a person like him split us up. That would mean he had got the better of us and I for one will not let that happen. Darren thinks we are a clique, he took my post from way back and used it to batter us with,he,s one of those types who would rather feel in the right than be nice to people. Wellif being clique y keeps the likes of him out I,m all for it. Me, Pixie,Sam,Roo,Scarly, frenchy, mrs Preval and all the other good guys are what matter here. Xxxxxxlove you too! Xxx

Thanks Carole,
I genuinely believe though that we aren't 'cliquey' on here? - we are actually extremely welcoming and inclusive.
Only look at all the friends and regulars we have encouraged into the forum in the last month! Where were all of these members before we turned up and did such a bright friendly makeover on an almost derelict forum? I remember that there were only about 4 threads in any use, every other day or so, when I first came here in May? - what a busy thriving forum it is now! Everyone is always welcomed with a big smile and open arms! :o>

Maybe people who throw around comments like that are people who will never fit in anywhere and then feel the need to excuse it by blaming others? I did seriously annoy the guy by suggesting to Pixie that he might be another of these rogue website spammer, based on the confusingly random website links that he had put on different threads, and he popped up absolutely furious about it! I instantly apologised and welcomed him very warmly but he simply wouldn't let it go. He also keeps complaining about Amazon and about them not wanting to support his website too? - Is that my fault as well? - no.

I would never ignore any requests for cake suggestions, or where to buy American sized measuring cups, and not pass on a recommendation for where to buy large quantities of cheap Buttermilk just because other people had unwittingly used the 'wrong' thread to post their questions on? - now that would be petty and childish. And yes, a lot of the books that many posters get so excited over often aren't actually the 'new' books that are coming out, but their old favourites that they wish to share - but that doesn't make them any less valid or valuable to the discussion, does it? They are still often 'new' and exciting to the other members - many of whom then go off and buy them too! And Pixie always updates her thread on a daily basis with lots of pre-orders and all the new releases. And discussions take place about them, too.

It was just one of those very sad and un-necessary arguements all in all, but hopefully it did no great damage to anyone - including to him. It certainly brought up some interesting issues for everyone who sadly got involved, but you know, in the long run he did me a big favour? - in reminding me that I have no problem whatsoever with mine - you know the song, Carole? - "I am who I am,...." - well I am!!! x x x

(*EDITED - Okay Everybody! Nuff Said? - so let's all move on now!!! Peace & Love to all*) :o>

You are you are you are, and we wouldn,t have it ant other way. Because his spleen was not directed at us we could see what was going on, but for you it was a bit up close and personal I,m afraid. when he started on Sam as well it became even more obvious, then he had a roundabout dig at me, picking up on something I said ages ago, he just had an axe to grind about something and we were his target of choice. If I had been a sweary type of girl I might have said, or w..........k...r or some such name, but of course I would never do that. "I,m a lady" ha ha ......

You were so easy to welcome Sam!
And you love Marzipan too! Hee, hee, hee!!! - what's not to like?!
So sorry to read that your bike got so trashed - shame! - but far more preferable to it being you!!! :o>

Hi Girls!!! :o>

Marzipan in dark chocolate... mmmmm... So tempting. But mustn't buy.

Not so sure of the bike vs. me thing. The bike costs money to fix, while I heal for free. :-)

! ! ! You actually value your bike MORE than yourself ! ! !
SAM!!! - shame on you!!! Besides, I've read your Bike's postings on here and quite frankly it's spelling is absolutely atttrocciouss, and it's total obsession with puncture repair kits quite disturbing! You are much more valuable to us as a member on here! - X !

I know what you mean about the puncture repair kits. It's the rubber patches. I think it's becoming a little fetishistic.

Ah my Scarlet Lady. How are you? Had a good time?

Here, we've had joy, pain, bills, conflict, heady heights, chocolate brazils, and cookery books. Y'know... the usual.
