Yes I do agree with that, but to say that school meals were better when I know they were just rubbish at that time is ridiculous. From what I can gather some schools have vending machines for coke and stuff too???

What exactly are "posh" puddings anyway, same ingredients mostly, different presentation. I do believe that British puddings are better on any level than anything you will find anywhere in the world and much to be envied not derided.

Well I may well quote you if it comes to it Diamond. I know the school Ellie is going to have chips a couple times a week at least. We have them maybe once a month and home made at that. I really can't see they will be able to enforce it tho can you??

I guess what I am having for lunch tomorrow - lovely mash - and some delicious home made - thick mince in gravy poured round it - I am going now to the Freezer to hook it out so it defrosts - of course - there is always Heinz tomato - love it - what shall I choose

Mince and tatties, lovely grub Patti, my Nan used to make that too and stovies. My other nan used to make a dish called ,ock and dough too, real comfort food, cheap and cheerful to fill hungry tummies.
