Thanks for the offer Sunnyskies. I am exploring the possibility that it maybe a problem with Google Mail - seems like a common issue, but since no one has come up with a solution it could take a while! Just need to figure out a way round it... Ori and I are on the case ;)

Have managed to discover that Facebook was closed to allow her time to focus on the new website. So nothing sinister. Also managed to get a copy of her new email address. I will check to see if she is happy posting it on here - you know what spammers are like!

Hey lovelies! I've replied to Ed :)

I've just been super busy at work, we're close to another round of redundancies so everyone is in a bit of a frenzy x

Any new exciting Cooking Antics? I made Bagels, Crumpets, and Scones last weekend but my Sister, her Friend and my Niece gobbled the lot! I took them all to see Charlie and the Chocolate Factory in the West End, it was ace! Although I could only afford the rafters so we had to lean over the edge to see :)

Xx

Debs! Howdy doody! Nice to hear from you...guessed you were busy, thought you might have moved...how's that going, found the house of your dreams?

Lucky you...I love the theatre but don't get there as often as I'd like living in the "wilderness" Lol!

Bagels...love 'em! were they good?xx

Hey Pixie, how's things? I have found the house of my dreams...unfortunately it's 1.6million... So it will be staying in my dreams while I continue my search for a smaller model ;)

I love the theatre to buts its so expensive I don't go very often. I am going to see if I can get tickets to Matilda while my niece is with me though.

The bagels were superb! I used Rachel Allen's recipe on the BBC site, it says it makes 7 but they expand madly when you boil them so I will make 8 or 9 next time.

Off to tooting today to get my back looked at, which means I can stock up on Indian Party Food! Yummy :) x

@Mrs Johnson - Great to hear from you... and to think you can get Mahi Mahi in Waitrose - I thought you'd jetted off to the Caribbean or something!

Hope you survive the current round of redundancies - the uncertainty is one of the worst bits!

I really must go to the theatre more often - the wife loves it, but you cant do everything can you... number of times i put money aside and then it goes towards something else!

Well i havent made made much on the food front, although I did make Sophie a boiled egg the other day. 'Remembered' to take it out after three minutes... yeah, big mistake, sadly it was still 'raw'. How do you then continue cooking an egg? I poured it out in a pyrex dish and put it in the saucepan of water... My god it was awful by the time I had finished it! The soldiers did little to improve its appeal and she went to school hungy :(

That,s horrible Mrs J, I bet the gossip mongers and the jungle drums are working overtime at the moment. It makes for a horrible atmosphere.xx

@Retro, I was bought an egg boiler as a wedding Present and had exactly the same problem... All raw, I just whisked them up and scrambled them instead. If I am using large eggs straight from the fridge, then I give them 4 and a 1/2 mins. I'm having boiled eggs for brekkie today now :)

@Diamond, it's pretty grim in the office. Although I am lucky enough to sit in a separate office with just two of us, so we don't get caught up in the nastiness too much. I'm really relieved we will know by end of July though... Is everything ok in your world? xx ps. Thank you for the lovely review :) xx

It was a pleasure to write the review for you, and I meant every word. Keep my fingers crossed for your future employment status Debs.xx
