Does anyone know of a dust cover that would fit the Kenwood kMix Stand Mixer? Kenwood don't seem to make one. Thank you for your help.

Thank you, Pixie. Unfortunately the Kenwood Chef is not the same size as the kMix ... but I'll have another look at it. Thank you ...

Wow, Pixie, thank you very much! You're right, one person does say that. I'll see if they have any other colours, otherwise red it'll be! Thank you once again ...

I've got one red Kenwood mixer (A901) with an Andrew James cover over it under my dining table. The cover is a bit big. You can wipe down the cover. The other Kenwood mixer (White KM201) which I use a lot and lives on the worktop but out of the sun has the can opener attachment permanently on it. I bought a plastic bowl cover (supposed to stop splashing) but I use that to keep dust off the bowl and the paddle etc.

Why have I got two ? I got home from work one morning and spotted the white one on ebay and bid on it then an hour later spotted a red one which was older but had been overhauled and resprayed. I bid on that too then went to bed. Later when I got up at tea time I found I then owned both of them.

The red A901 cost more but is older but it sounds beautiful. The white one was a KM201. It was as white outside as inside the base but had not been resprayed - I think someone had kept it in a cupboard and hardly used it. White ones left out can get a little yellowed. If you shut them away they are too heavy to keep getting out.

I got a lot of accessories which fit both of them off ebay. I bought a few new ones. One was for potato peeling and the pasta making one.

I've decided to make a cotton cover to match my kitchen decoration (when I get it decorated) to put over the Andrew James cover. I decided to have a Poppy theme and everthing I have bought is red.

The white one will then live inside the cupboard where my tins will be. I can use the can opener. If ever the red one breaks down I will still have the white one.

I bought a hardly used gathered skirt on ebay and washed it. Then I cut off the waistband and undid the seams. The fabric of the skirt was poppies on a black background. Will go with all the red things. Toaster, kettle etc. Will probably cut the fabric up and cut patchwork pieces and line with wadding etc.

I always wanted a Kenwood mixer but hubby drank and I never had the cash. I hinted at my mother and she gave me a little Kenwood Handmixer that you stood on it's end and unscrewed to fit on a small liquidiser. I used the liquidiser a lot for baby food. Whenever I brought the subject of a proper Kenwood mixer up hubby would point out to the little Kenwood.

Shame I have got two now and no one to cook for - - - -

Thank you very much, Jean. That's interesting. I'm OK now personally, but I'm sure other people will find that useful. Thank you.
