An absolute pleasure Mrs P!
I have caught myself vegetating a bit too much recently, so it has been very useful therapy for the 'little grey cells' !
I just hope that they work in your machine as well as they do in JJ's! I guess if it's too stiff - add some lemon juice at the end of cooking to loosen it up, and if it's too runny a set - you could stir in a few dissolved jelly cubes and leave to reset, and then add a sprinkle of Pectin next time around?

Been thinking over the last one, Rhubarb and Pineapple Jam (my fave!) again, and wondering, as Quick Jel is a different product (no gelatine in) maybe a pack of powdered jelly crystals would work better. We weren't sure if they would set if boiled as jam though, and we think that Quick Jel can be boiled, and it has a nicer jammier texture when set - so perhaps just one sachet would work here or two? This recipe makes up to 8 jars by the way - but I'm sure you will have many interested 'taste-testers' wanting to take them off your hands!

Crushed Pineapple can be hard to find, I recommend Morrisons for their huge variety of tinned fruits and would go for Del Monte, as it is usually less 'woody' than others. Or just blitz a tin of slices or chunks and leave to drain in a sieve!

Ooooh, all this fruit and jam is making my mouth water! - I wish you many hours of very easy jam making and great fun! :o>
