FWIW, here's a short list of comic songs that always have me in stitches:

1) Monty Python's "Every Sperm is Sacred"
2) Jasper Carrot's "Chastity Belt" (with spoonerisms).
3) Spinal Tap's "Stonehenge"
4) Benny Hill's "Samuel Pepys Diary"
5) Splodgnessabounds "Malcolm Opera"
6) Red Dwarf's "Arnold Arnold Arnold Rimmer" song.
7) The Bonzos' "Intro and the Outro"
8) Half Man Half Biscuit's "1966 and all That"
9) Spitting Image's "Chicken Song"
10) I'm so Ronery" From Team America World Police.

What are your favourites?

Good call for "Sit on my face.."!
I could probably have filled my top ten with Python songs (Brave Sir Robin, Bet They Won't Play This on the Radio, Oh Lord Please Don't Burn Us etc.) but wanted to spread things around a bit.

There are loads of others from Python - Knights of the Round Table, I Like Traffic Lights, Eric the Half a Bee, Finland, etc etc.

Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia - Laurel & Hardy (the song itself isn't really comic but the way they do it certainly is)

Oldham's Burning Sands - Oldham Tinkers

But I think me favourite is Lydia the Tattooed Lady, Groucho Marx.

'She has eyes that men adore so,
and a torso even more so...'
Class.

HA HA HA!!!.....it's funny I was only vaguely aware of Spike back in the day? Perhaps I was too young and he was a little too 'unpredictable' for my parents tastes?!! I'm only just catching up now with the wonderful Goon Show thanks to Radio 4Extra.

Being a child of two parents who worked full-time, I spent a lot of school holiday time in a creche and I remember these playing in the background at least several times a day!.....of course, I realise now that they must have been on a loop tape!

I've Lost The End Of My Yodel - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ekWV-9TDg_I

My Boomerang Won't Come Back - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PiNwWqrBKzQ

Wow! - what wonderful memories! - don't you just love YouTube?!!..... ;o>
