Or the scene in A Midsummer Night's Sex Comedy where his wife's trying to dekeck him in the kitchen: "there's a man in the next room singing the Lord's prayer, we'll go blind". That's how funny people tackled sex back then, whereas Benny Hill...

Not only a funny guy, once upon a time, but a classy film director. My personal favourite, I think, is The Sleeper. 'They're taking my brain? My brain is my second favourite organ...'

And he plays a pretty mean jazz clarinet too.
