I can't believe that this fantastic eighties comedy has not come out on dvd. It was hilarious. I would love to watch it again - am I the only one?

Well it wasn't a childrens programme so I think you're on the wrong forum. But it was a quality comedy, Simon Callow was great and so was Brenda Blethyn as his girlfriend.

A great series. I think they did three series of it and as Winston says it wasn't a children's series - not with Brenda Blethyn in her undercrackers.

Definitly not childrens comedy I remember it was on at 8 on a night. Its the forgotten programmes like this that show just how far down the pan current TV output is compared to previous years

I liked the way that Simon Callow spoke in short sentences, and the way he would down a pint in one!

Loved this programme as a child , I had an "honourary" aunt who both looked and sounded like Brenda Blethyn's character , and could never understand why I would frequently ask her to say "Oh Tom..."!
