My son loves listening to audio CD's. He enjoyed Anthony Horowitz's 'The Falcon's Malteser' and 'Groosham Grange' and wants more like these stories. He also loves Michael Morpurgo. Any suggestions for audio books for an advanced 10 year old reader would be appreciated.

My son liked these books a great deal and also enjoyed Horowitz's Alex Rider series. He has just listened to the Paladin Prophecy by Mark Frost which he really enjoyed (though not funny like the Falcon's Malteser. Interestingly, he also really enjoyed the Just William books on audio (having previously sneered at them). Frank Cotterell Boyce's Cosmic is a great audio book and nicely read by the narrator (funny).

I was going to suggest the Just William books too! They're really funny. The Hobbit is also a great book for his age - I'm sure there are must be audio versions available.

Just William
Is this the first CD of the series?

I would also suggest The Hobbit. Both the BBC version and audio version read by Martin Shaw are excellent. Plus the BBC version of The Lord of the Rings is fantastic too!
