Well it will certainly bring the subject a lot closer and with the x2 focal length multiplier you'd have the 35mm equivalent of a 90 to 400mm lens - which should be a pretty useful range for wildlife, sports and maybe portraits

It came with the 14-42mm lens.

Thank Yoú my dear doctor,
Would this be better for longer range photos, eg, wildlife, sport?

200 divided by 45 = 4.4 - elementary my dear Winsor

I bought the Panasonic lumix G3 about 6 weeks ago, which i am loving, and wondered about getting a new lens with a better zoom.

This is my first real experience with a "real" camera and not to sure on the zooms.

Any advice greatly received thanks.
