Have you visited a library recently? More fun and action in a morgue.

Nugent Dirt says:
You can have lots of fun in libraries like tramp watching, trouser coughing ventriloquily, leaving old copies of Razzle in the magazine rack, turning over the pages of books when the readers go off for a waz/tab etc.

I think its just the biography crowd - some of the other book forums are funny....especially the relegion and alternative medicine and cosmic ordering..they can be a scream (of horrer or amusement)

There. Humour on biography forum. Of a sort. Well, I thought it was funny. It's from Biff which is not biography but is funny. Ha ha.

Sian rose says:
Its because its hard to get humour accross on here , unless your writing a joke then what you mean to be funny or teasing can very easily be taken
the wrong way.

M. Dowden says:
Jane Austen is so right. Irony doesn't come across at all well with one posting unless you are familiar with the posts of that one person. I posted something a few weeks ago and added : ), and fortunately the person took it the right way, otherwise they may have thought I was personally insulting them, whereas it was more along the lines of me hamming things up.
