I agree it is bad for not advertising. alot of hv are telling people to get Aptamil comfort, but as these are made by the same people they to are out of stock.

Have you tryed SMA comfort? This is the only one i can find now and have put my lo on it. it seems ok for him, maybe talk to your hv about trying SMA or the dr maybe able to help you more.

So since "Horsemeat labelling" scandal they have withdrawn supply of baby milk formula - anyone else suspicious this is for DNA testing???

MrsI had great trouble getting C&G Comfort for a prem baby, No supplies in our area (Essex) Managed to get Aptamil, but that does not help as I am likely to run out of milk before mid March. Had two tins in our local chemist, that was the lot for them. I think it was bad no one, not even the health visitor knew what was going on, and there has been no advertising of the shortages.

But Aptamil Comfort is also in short supply for the same reason, as obviously the factory will use the same ingredients across both processing lines
Locally to me you can't find either type

If you do happen to run out, Aptamil Comfort has the exact same ingredients as C & G Comfort and if you compare the boxes the address is the same too, so its basically all the same milk, manufactured in the same place just branded different.

Anyone having trouble getting cow and gate comfort? I have been trying to get some for a week now. i contacted them and this is what i have been told:

"We are currently experiencing some delays with production of our Comfort formula. We are our doing our very best to resolve this issue and we expect product to be back on shelf in mid March. If you need any support or advice in the meantime, or wish to talk about viable alternatives, you can get in touch with our Careline by calling 0800 977 4000."

just a warning all other type of comfort are also going out of stock fast. So if you use comfort and manage to find some.... stock up!!
