Hi, we have used the Angelcare AC401 Baby Movement Sensor Pad and Sound Monitor for nearly 14months now without much issue. We did need to adjust the sensitivity when moving to a larger cot and have had a few false alarms (our little one likes to lay near the sides). It does have a delay between movement not being detected and the alarm going off, which may be long enough for when your daughters' movement is reduced, but you could increase the sensitivity (being careful with any vibrations from within the room)? When we first got it we spent some time getting set-up and testing it - once this initial stage was over we had more confidence that it would do what we needed. I think most sensors have their pros and cons, so I guess it's a case of choosing one that fits your needs the most, the one we chose seemed to meet most of ours.

I would absolutely recommend a nanny mat. Nanny Breathing Monitor. It is really simple to connect and use. It covers a much larger area than others and can be hooked up to a second mat to increase the coverage even further. I have used it for 6 months in a cot bed and have been very happy with it.

I have the Angelcare AC1100 which is a sound, camera and movement monitor. I agree with T Waller, and I took a little while to get the sensitivity right as the cot bed has a thick mattress, but once set up it has been very good. I think it has a delay if you have removed the child and forgotten to turn it off first. I have done this on occasion so I know it works, and I'm sure the neighbours do too because it really is loud. You could always adjust the sensitivity to give you peace of mind. I have had this for approx 15mths and no issues. But keep the parent unit away from the microwave and laptop as this seems to interrupt the signal at my place. Maybe obvious if you are technically minded but I found that out myself!
