Innuendoes is unlike any other book I have ever read. Its content cannot be easily, or well, summarised. Were I to proffer an outline, people would possibly feel moved to dismiss it but if they read the book they might feel differently.

On one level the Innuendoes is a biography of Freddie Mercury and is a far more compassionate, complex and thoughtful depiction of the singer than one usually finds. The book also has mystical dimensions; considers moral/ethical matters; and relates a moving and thought provoking autobiography.

The book has no ultimate conclusion so it isn't really something with which you can agree or disagree, nonetheless I'm sure that it will prove to be highly controversial. Many people from many different fields of interest might well find something in it beyond controversy.

hello,
this is what i will advise caution for as it can or could offend the easily offended if you have an open mind great get it!! if youa re seriously interested in queen and their music and mercury great!!!
and if you just want an interesting read andbelieve me you would never in a million years read a book like this one again....
it is a interesting read and very thought provoking.

Aptly titled as it is full of Innuendoes and metaphors. One can choose to take at them at face value or, like a detective, choose to find a path through the smoke and mirrors to a solid core built on hope, love and spirituality. Is it coincidence or connection? A fun read on one level, a bit of a mystery on another, an intriguing biography of both Freddie and the author on yet another, and at the deepest level - a statement of faith. A powerful spiritual journey dressed in the masquerade of a delightful rock 'n' roll fantasy world. A real catalyst for introspection. Take a chance - jump into this story with both feet and see what happens. Enjoy "The Writer" Sylv...(ie. S.V. Livingstone)
