Callahan aka Smog has been making country-tinged indie rock full of
self-obsessed and twisted narratives. But for his latest album,
Supper,
there's a new twist as Smog shrugs off a couple of those dark obsessions and
embraces (if somewhat gingerly) a slightly sunnier disposition. Full of
easygoing country rock that touches on the contradictions within relationships
