Eligibility: The Adobe Student Editions are only for students meeting the eligibility criteria set out below, not teachers or lecturers. Teachers and lecturers can continue to buy Adobe Education box products. (This does not include Studio 8 Student & Teacher Edition, which is also available for teachers and lecturers.)
Proof of Eligibility Required:
Students will be required to provide proof of their current student status to install the products. Only full- or part-time students enrolled at a higher education establishment, defined as an accredited public or private university or college that grants degrees requiring not less than the equivalent of two (2) years of full-time study, or students enrolled at an accredited public or private secondary school providing full-time instruction are eligible to purchase Adobe Student Edition software.
This license may only be used on a privately-owned computer. Full details of the process for submitting proof of status can be found in the box.
What is in the box?:
The box only contains the product CD and a “Student Edition Order Fulfillment Process” instructions document. To obtain your full-license serial number you will need to complete the instructions as per the Student Edition Order Fulfillment Process document. The box does not contain a serial number or manuals for the program.
What is the process to get the full serial number?
To obtain your full-license serial number, you will need:
• Access to the Internet
• Your current e-mail address
• The coupon code printed on the upper left corner of the Student Edition order fulfillment process instructions (inside your Adobe Student Edition box)
• A digital copy of your proof of eligibility
Only eligible individuals who are able to provide proof of eligibility will receive a serial number for their Adobe Student Edition product.

How long will it take to get the CD & serial number once the form has been sent to Adobe?
Adobe anticipates that once a student submits their details via the online Adobe Customer Support Portal (the url is on the Student Edition fulfillment process instructions document in the Student Edition box) it will take 3 working days to issue the serial number, provided the information required has been sent correctly and the appropriate proof of eligibility has been provided.
What information does the student need to complete the form? What is considered proof of
student status?
Students must provide a photocopy of a valid, current student ID that includes your name, date, and a photo. If you do not have such
an ID, you must instead provide a photocopy of a valid photo ID and one of the following items:
• Official, current non-photo student ID with name and date
• Official, current school transcript indicating name of school and student
• Official, current school tuition bill indicating name of school and student
• Official, current report card indicating name of school and student
• Other official dated proof of enrollment
If student is under the age of 18 and does not have a valid, current Student ID with photo or credit card, the person purchasing the product for the student must provide a valid, current photo ID and corroborating evidence of student’s eligibility:
• Official, current non-photo student ID with name and date
• Official, current school transcript indicating name of school and student
• Official, current school tuition bill indicating name of school and student
• Official, current report card indicating name of school and student
You may use a digital camera or scanner to capture the image of your proof of eligibility. Please ensure all documents are clear, legible,
and true to size. Acceptable formats include JPEG, GIF, and PDF. If you cannot produce digital copies of your proof of eligibility, you may fax photocopies of these documents.
Can parents buy on behalf of their child?:
Yes, parents can pay for this product on behalf of their child, but the product must be registered in the name of the child and the relevant proof must be provided and the product may only be used for non-commercial use.
Can a school or school board (LEA) pay for this product on behalf of a student?:
Yes, an Education Institution or school board can purchase this product on behalf of a student, but the product must be registered in the name of the student and the relevant proof must be provided. The product may NOT be installed on institutionally owned machines.
How many copies of the product can students purchase?:
Students can purchase one copy of each product within a 12 month period. The product may not be used for commercial purposes.
