Product Description

The inspiring story of how Tiffany, George Rodrigue's beloved terrier/spaniel became Blue Dog, the world-famous pop icon that appears on everything from gift cards to TV adverts. Blue Dog has touched the hearts of hundreds of thousands of fans over the last fifteen years, and has become an icon of contemporary American culture. With a sophisticated sense of humour, Blue Dog provides a completely unique perspective on the nature of love, art, and human behaviour. First published in the United States in 1994, the newly re-issued Blue Dog has already sold nearly 150,000 copies.

About the Author

5.0 out of 5 stars Most captivating book I have ever read, 11 Jul 2001
By A Customer
This review is from: Blue Dog Journal (Diary)
I received this wonderful book yesterday and simply couldn't put it down. Reading it and gazing at the paintings is the purest contemplation. It's to savour and return to time and again, always some new aspect to consider, some detail in the text and the painting which each time comes to life. Very moving, very beautiful.(Refers to Stewart Talbot & Chang edition, published 2000)
