One year above Harry at Hogwarts, Katie is the only remaining member of the original Gryffindor Quidditch team that Harry joined in his first year at Hogwarts. Unfortunately, Katie’s return to the team is short-lived when she becomes the victim of a cursed necklace intended for someone else.

Considered the most savage werewolf alive, Greyback regards it as his mission to bite and contaminate as many people as possible in a bid to create enough werewolves to overcome the wizards. He is in league with Voldemort and his Death Eaters, and has developed such a taste for human flesh that he appears wolf-like even when the moon is not full.

The new Potions teacher during Harry’s sixth year at Hogwarts, Horace Slughorn lends Harry the Potions book previously owned by the Half-Blood Prince. Slughorn also possesses a crucial memory – one which Harry must access in order to learn the secret of finishing Lord Voldemort.
