its a great camera if you know how to set it up if you dont read the instruction book first your pics will be grainy which i found out after reading the instruction book i have set it up and the pictures are perfect i have several 8mp cameras some cost 3 times as much as this one but none of them come close to being as good as this one put simply its probably the best camera you can buy but its not for amatures as this is a proffesional camera amatures should buy a £79 vivitar point and clik

the only thing going for this camera is that it looks nice, otherwise not much beneath the surface. picture quality is not good even at 7MP hi quality mode. and colours are grainy. it does take ok videos and there is even a youttube mode (optimum compression for youtube apparently. ) i read some reviews on digital camera website before i bought it and it was supposedly good. obviously, i didnt read widely enough. i have owned one sony 5MP previously and even on the 3MP setting, the pictures came out sharper than this... so

overall, avoid if you care at all the quality of your photos. get it if you want a nice looking camera to flash around.

I have had this camera for more than a year. It performs amazingly well for its compact size. It is important to read through the instructions to figure out the best settings for different occasions. I see it as a compact camera with bridge camera features.
