Product Description

Manufacturer's Description

Infernal tells the story of Ryan Lennox, a fallen angel now recruited by hell to fight 'Etherlight', heaven's own secret agency. Etherlight has eliminated most of hell's earthly agents and is planning its final blow against its archrival. Ryan, hunted by his opponents, is left to take them on single-handed, armed with a vast arsenal of weapons and supernatural powers. The captivating plot sends him from ancient monastery catacombs and secret mountain hideouts to sprawling harbour docks and oil refineries, before finally facing the ultimate showdown.

Ryan Lennox will need all his powers to find out what's really behind Etherlight's plans, while he unleashes hell with every single weapon in his hand!

4.0 out of 5 stars Not bad at all , 8 Mar 2007

If you've tried the pc version incarnation of resident evil 4 and were disappointed then give this a go. It's graphically very good if you have a high spec machine though there isnt much in the way of a story but if you just want an all out action 3rd person shooter then this should meet your requirements. Not 3 bad in my opinion though not quite doom 3 or half life 2 etc......worth a shot.

This game isnt bad. A little awkward to get used to at first but works pretty well with being able to hide behind cover etc. The cutscenes can be a lil disjointed and cheesy (not too bad if u like lke that sorta thing). it doesnt live up to games like half life or doom 3 or gears of war, but all in all its not a bad game

2.0 out of 5 stars A bit of fun for a short while but lacking the substance that we've come to expect from action games, 10 April 2007

Fun:3.0 out of 5 stars
Infernal feels like a 3 or 4 year old game. Not because of the graphics - which look fine with lots of nice special effects - but because of the disparate mish mash of weapons, puzzles and plot ideas that offer a lot to mess about with but don't make the game fun to play beyond the 3 hour mark. For those first few hours new weapons and skills are constantly being introduced, with annoying accompanying tutorials and it's all good fun to play with but there's no compelling game to get stuck into, no Half-Life style plot pushing the action through new and interesting environments, no Grand Theft Auto freedom to experiment in the gameworld and not even the staple endless supply of enemies and abundance of ammo that would at least make using all the skills and weapons a bit more enjoyable.

In short, Infernal feels more like a tech demo plaything than a fully fleshed out game and is, unfortunately, highly disappointing.
