This camera can take some excellent pictures, but only about 2or3 from each 10 are any good.The lens is great, but the focus is poor and exposure modes are very limiting. This camera does nothing quickly. Start up is long, you need to wait a long time for the next shot, reviewing photos takes a ridiculously long time and making adjustments is too time consuming. Its only a point and shoot, no black and white, poor in low light, flash intensity can't be altered, the 1000asa mode is near useless due to poor noise and without a real shake reduction my cheap panasonic consistently takes better shots. Stick it on a tripod, its good, any other time useless. Can,t recommend this to anyone. Would't have bought it if i'd seen a review. Looks nice though!

I chose this model as I wanted an Olympus camera with a wide-angle lens.
While I still love my Olympus OM10 for its manual focus, accessories etc,
as a digital camera for everyday use the FE-200 is fine and (unlike the other reviewer) my prints were all OK. Minus points - I would have liked a memory card and a fuller printed version manual to be included.
