Molina has won acclaim from many quarters for her unique style - breathy, acoustic Spanish folk subjected to heavy digital processing -and on 'Son' ("Sound") she turns in more of the same. This time, however, a lessening of the electronic elements gives the album a more organic feel, and the sound is somehow simultaneously more expansive and more intimate.
