A great song from the album "Release", accompanied here with two cracking new tracks which, unfathomably, were not included on the album!
"Searching for the face of Jesus" is, to all intents and purposes, about Elvis Presley and has an almost dreamy quality to it. On the other hand, in my opinion it is the second addition to this EP which stands out.
"Between two islands" is an absolutely fantastic track with amazing chord changes and, moreover, a great finale nicked splendidly from some geezer! An absolute must for any self-deprecating PSB fan. And if your'e not a fan on the strength of this collection then frankly, deafness does, indeed, come to some far too soon!

If you're a PSB fan you probably already have their latest album, "Release." But, if you're a REAL PSB fan, you also buy every single because even though you already have the main song on the album, their B-sides are just as good. And that is the case with "I get along." The two B-sides are each great songs. "Searching for the face of Jesus" is a ballad with a light guitar emphasis, like many of the songs on "Release." But "Between Two Islands" is pure theatrics: a synth-driven uptempo number with nice guitar that doesn't sound like "Release"; it could have been recorded during the "Nightlife" sessions (and is as good as anything on that album). I find it amazing that after all these years PSB continue to crank out well-crafted, thought-provoking pop music with every release.
