This second companion CD to CD1, features three tracks: "Home and Dry Ambient mix", unlike the single mix on CD1, is completely electronic... and now has been turned into an exceptionally beautiful ballad. The PSB have done this by changing the harmonies and giving the whole track a rather slow waltzing, almost pulsating beat. It's clever, and makes a great new companion ballad to "Always" on the first CD. Luckily, this CD includes two of the better mixes of the recent PSB/Peter Rauhofer colaboration coving the (so-called) Raze classic "Break for Love". The UK radio edit is very Euro-dance, whereas the Friburn and Urik Hi Pass mix is in my opinion condsiderably more progressive sounding with harder house beats, and a nice retro disco bass line.

Pet Shop Boys go back to basics on this first single from their new album "Release". This beautiful popsong could have come from one of their early albums if it wasn't for the guitar used. No Hi-NRG over the top stuf, but just plain and clean uncomplicated pop. Their best single in almost 10 years, and one of the best tracks of the new album. B-sides include an Ambient Mix of "Home and dry", 2 versions of their version of "Break 4 Love", and two new songs: "Sexy Northerner" and the brilliant "Always", which you will love if you liked b-sides like "Jack the lad", "A new life" and "Do I have to". So be sure to check out CD2 too...

Wow, The Pet Shop Boys just can't be stopped.
This is another great tune from the boys, it's a different sound this time as they pick up their guitars and strum their way though this priceless catchy pop.
Heck I can even remember the lyrics and it's been a couple of days since I heard it. Can't wait for the album 'Release'
