There's no need to review this album. Any Goon fan will want to have it. What is useful is to know what's on it. According to my information, the following tracks are included:

An excellent compilation of the efforts the Goons and their charaters went to in order to get on the hit parade, together with some of the best of Geldray and Ellington. Contains old favourites like the Ying Tong Song and other less well known but equally inspired songs. If you love the Goons you'll love these. Some of the best comedy ever was produced by the Goons in the 1950's, such a shame they're no longer with us.

... BUT it has been superceded by the Decca release "Unchained Melodies"
That has all the Goons' singles on including the Parlophone cuts (released and unreleased!) and if it is the Goons, not the musical bridges you like from the shows that might suit you better.
Don't get me wrong I have this disc too and it is an excellent disc...
but had I had the chance of getting Unchained Melodies when I bought this I probably wouldn't have.
