5.0 out of 5 stars Superb, 11 Aug 2000
By A Customer
Why has nobody reviewed this album ? This is one of the finest and original debut albums I have listened to. I first heard of Audioweb when I saw them live supporting the Manics in Manchester in 1997, and ever since I have been a huge fan. From start to finish, this album oozes top quality production soaring melodys and booming basslines. From the chugging darkness of the guitar on 'Into My World' to the brilliant cover of 'Bankrobber' by The Clash, Audioweb mix Rock with Reggae, Dub with Pop. It is as if they have 2 vocalists with Martin Merchant effortlessly switching from Angelic silky vocals to Reggae Rap-Chat. This album is superb and I would recommend it to any music fan. My only regret is that I only went to see them live that once without getting chance to see them again. They have now split, but not before making two outstanding records without receiving much acclaim which they really did deserve.

5.0 out of 5 stars Stooper, 5 April 2005
By deadteddy (Bridgend) - See all my reviews

I first heard this album over a friends house, I instantly fell in love with it and promptly managed to buy it through Amazon. This is the type of album that I kind of like describing as a "Summer Album." It has a perfect blend of relaxed chilling songs and upbeat dance/sing along songs. Don't let my description fool you into thinking that the album is empty though. This is a thoroughly rewarding album and possibly one of the best debut albums I've ever heard. I find it hard to catagorise their music although I suppose the closest I can get is to say they mix the borders of rock and reggae. It's a real shame that they split up but at least they left this behind and I'd think you were trying to insult them if you didn't buy it.

5.0 out of 5 stars Why did they split?, 2 Jan 2008

This is a great album! A fusion of rock and reggae, with Manc swagger! I saw them a couple of times live and was hooked straight away. Sadly all my albums got stolen in a house robbery, but I managed to still get my hands on this corker on eBay! :))
