3.0 out of 5 stars Very good - but more of a guide for walking in Ayrshire, 15 Sep 2004
By A Customer
This is a very good book - but it is written in an informal style with an informal font - more for the traveller than the student of Ayrshire history. An excellent publication for anyone interested in hiking along the Ayrshire Coast: an interesting, but less detailed book for anyone more interested in exploring the history in a more formal sense. As I am looking for the latter, I give this book *** only. However, for the walker, it is a ***** publication. Either way, it is recommended.
