5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent book about the concept and implementation of SMED, 8 Aug 2001
By A Customer
An excellent book written by the developer of SMED (Shigeo Shingo). The book explains the SMED system from theory to implementation. The book is the best publication I have read concerning this subject. I definately recommend this to any company that requires chngeovers to their plant. This can really help to reduce the time of changeovers. This is essential in achieving JIT production.
