4.0 out of 5 stars A great way to introduce Six Sigma to everyone, 6 Mar 2002
By A Customer
More about why than how, the value of this book is NOT as a technical introduction to the implementation of Six Sigma, but as great way to get buy in from people who aren't yet converts.

This book is simple, engaging and readable in a day. It left me "getting it" and keen to take on Six Sigma. Don't expect rocket science, but I'd certainly recommend giving it to any managers and employees involved in a Six Sigma project who need converting to the philosophy.

Already a best-seller in the USA, this is to Six Sigma what Who Moved My Cheese is to change. A cheap way to change minds.

5.0 out of 5 stars Six Sigma basics in the form of a short story., 2 Aug 2001
This is an excellent book. Ideal for those starting out on the Six Sigma process as it tells the story of the successful introduction of Six Sigma to a fictional company. Most of the questions you would ask yourself, are asked and answered as two characters sit down to a meal in a pizza restaurant. It is a good choice as we have all been to a restaurant and can relate to the examples whether they are Six Sigma or not. If you are new to Six Sigma or still need to be convinced, buy this book.

1.0 out of 5 stars This is a 100% time waster, 26 Nov 2001
By A Customer
It took exactly 5 minutes to realise that this in another "Business Novel", and contains NO useful or practical information about Six Sigma as an SPC discipline.

All Business Novels should carry a specific warning - this one has wasted me 48 hours on a project of major urgency.
