4.0 out of 5 stars reasonably priced, a good resource for first year students, 23 Jan 2001
By A Customer
Quite a good book with a plentiful supply of information. A good book for any first year zoology/biology student, some excellent diagrams and clear descriptive chapters, including some good physiological comparison information. Good value for money, and definitely worth purchasing.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great for Zoology!!!, 13 Oct 2009

This review is from: Invertebrate zoology (Hardcover)
I'm a third year Aquatic Biologist and I just got this book as a reference really, but the diagrams are excellent, my lecturer said Barnes is one of the best. The book i got is very old but most of the information is still relevant, however I would question some of the classifications with those of today and always double check with a more moder text. All in all, great book - great buy!
