Paul Lynch trained in NLP and worked as a holistic therapist for years before discovering EMT. Val Lynch runs The Heart Centre in Eastbourne with Paul. She is a Reiki healer and runs personal development groups. These two authors, based in the UK are eager to promote.

I found this book brilliantly written, easy to understand, easy to follow and very practical in the way it has been laid out. I was able to practice the techniques throughout the book and unable to put it down until I finished it. It has the right balance of science, technique and information to the lay person and is one I would recommend to anyone who wishes to improve their life by getting rid of old, outdated emotions and negative behaviours and phobias.

I first came across energy tapping (EFT) through NLP work. I was highly sceptical, but I have now used tapping myself to elminate severe heel pain after walking and I have seen it used on others. It does work ! I can certainly vouch for it working with physical pain. I can't vouch for emotional problems of depression, weight loss etc but it is worth a try. This book is well written and clearly explains how to use the technique, though the comments on how it is supposed to work are vague and unconvincing. The book is good value and definitely worth buying if you are involved in therapy, or if you want to give it a shot for personal issues. Nothing ventured, nothing gained and the price is good. Give it a go !.

This book is excellent. It helped me cure myself of panic attacks and several phobias. I wasn't convinced at first that the methods would work but they did. Proving that you don't have to believe in the method for it to work.
I would recommend this book to anyone.

Having tried the methods in this book to conquer a phobia I found it to be of no help at all. This method for me was a total waste of time and the book a total waste of money.
