Product Description

Product Description

This set of tarot cards features the Celtic artwork of Courtney Davis. The pack is accompanied by a book by Helena Paterson, which delves into the origins of the Celtic people and their mystical Druidic religion. The book goes on to examine the tarot cards one by one, explaining their meanings by linking the cards to the major characters of the Celtic myths and gods. It concludes with detailed instructions on how to use the cards, together with a newly devised spread - the Druid's Star. --This text refers to an out of print or unavailable edition of this title.

5.0 out of 5 stars wonderful imagery, clear and interesting text, 29 Jul 2000
By A Customer
The cards have a really positive feel to them and the imagery is at once beautiful and powerful. Very easy to use. The accompanying book taught me new things about tarot and really made the cards infinitely more usable.

5.0 out of 5 stars Handsome cards; useful book that's easy to use, 30 Jul 2000
By A Customer
The Celtic artwork on the cards is full of symbolism which is explained very clearly in the text of the book. The cards are easy to use and there are a number of suggested layouts including a new one for this deck. Excellent.

5.0 out of 5 stars A wonderful, beautiful, intuition provoking pool of imagery, 17 May 2001
While remaining true to fairly standard tarot, Paterson and Davis produced a minor work of art which will be accessible to practiced tarot users yet also immediately significant for any with a background in celtic, pagan, wiccan and arthurian sybolism. Dont be put off by that list, it works!
