I bought this toy for my 6 year old cousin, and she was absolutely thrilled with it. At first, I was a bit afraid about getting her a magic set, as i used to have one, and it never worked. However, i have seen her playing with this set nearly everytime i see her, and she always has a big grin on her face. It is clearly an excellent present, and reasonably good value for money.

This was purchased as a christmas present for our 6 year old son, he is absolutely amazed and keen to learn but his dad (me) has been even more impressed and have been entertaining friends at dinner parties. I hoped it may encourage a new hobby in my son, but instead the bug has bitten me, I'm off to buy and learn more magic. Watch this space one day I too may be famous !

A great magic set but some parts are very fragile for the age range it is presumably aimed at - under 9's. The card tricks are not really possible for under 7's but the magic boxes are very impressive to them... but not for the ham-fisted! We had to return our first set because of a breakage within 24 hours but then the same thing happened again!
