Product Description
Amazon.co.uk
Perfect for aspiring magicians from 5 to 14 years old, this set is absolute magic. Wearing their magic cloak, children can try one of the 25 tricks which are included, along with instructions and equipment.

The Magicians cloak itself is deep blue, decorated with gold moons and stars in wipe clean material. It's large enough to cover most of a 5-year-old magician and probably the top half of a 14-year-old one. The Cloak is equipped (shhh) with secret pockets inside, perfect for hiding props and pieces of equipment which will enable all those tricky tricks to be performed easily by the wearer.

Tricks include;

  • A ball and vase trick in which a ball is made to apparently inexplicably appear and disappear.
  • A colour changing clown picture.
  • A magic coin case in which small coins can be made to disappear, or turn a five pence piece into a pound coin (a potentially great means of supplementing pocket money).
  • An Escaping Block where your audience will be amazed by the coloured blocks which seem locked in but can be "magic-ed" loose.
  • Plus, a magic wand and a pack of "magic" playing cards.

Many magic card tricks can be performed with the special pack of cards--ask one of the audience to pick a card, any card, and amaze them by finding their chosen cards, using an ingenious and easy-to-achieve technique.

This set will provide hours of amusement and there is enough here to catch children's imaginations and lead them into spending time perfecting the tricks. There are also fun tricks to try which only need homemade equipment. Some tricks may take a little practise in order to astound friends and family, but performing the tricks can prove to be a great confidence builder. A great choice for children from 5 to 14, younger children will enjoy the simpler tricks while older children can take time mastering the more complicated ones, such as the crafty card tricks. --Rachel Ediss

I ordered it on 6th December with a promised date of 1-2 days. Still not received in a week so sent a number of emails. Eventually got a reply on the 17th saying it was in the post. Today, the 26th December on nothing, no replies to more emails. Result, one very unhappy child. This dealer is not to be trusted ever. I will be applying to amazon for a full refund.
