I did enjoy Step Up and Step Up 2. I bought this for my wife, in her word it was the worst of the 5 movies. The acting was terrible, the storyline was predictable, even most of the actual dancing seemed forced and more posing, (having said that there were a couple of people who stood out), till the last performance which was brilliant and saved this movie for us.

The MOB after their great video in part 4 decide to move to LA. Here they learn it is not what you know but how you know. After a number of humiliating auditions the decide it is not worth it and go home apart from their leader Ryan Guzman. Now he has one more shot at the life he loves. Creating a new crew from former members of the Step Up cast how have tasted the heights but had to give up their dreams in order to survive. This being his last shot how far is he willing to go and push his crew to win?

Not a good movie, a couple of standout routines make this from bad to ok. Hopefully the the last of the franchise. Simply adding more and more people just means less air time for everyone. I would have been better to have a smaller cast time given to better routines.

I have nearly all the 'Step-Up' movies and this one isn't my favourite for one reason, the storyline isn't great! If it wasn't for the amazing dancing then I would have fell asleep through it! I know the whole point of the movies is to showcase the amazing dancing but it's still a movie and needs a storyline. Thank goodness for the dancers they keep this movie moving along!

On first viewing I thought this seemed just ok, but on second viewing I loved it. I always end up smiling and feeling a little better having watched one. This was no different, especially after watching the credits and seeing how much fun the dancers had making it, which I rewound and saw more times than I saw the film.
What these films have by the bucket load apart from incredibly talented dancers, mind blowingly creative choreography ie: the final scene of no.2 and 4) is also their humour and positive attitude. Most disagreements are dealt with by having a big dance off, if only life was like that. One of the characters in this movie actually asks why that keeps happening which I thought was a nice touch.

Step Up 5's basic premise is that Sean from 4 and Moose from 2 and 4 gather characters from former outings together to form a new crew and dance their way to Vegas glory via a VH1 show called The Vortex, where crews worldwide compete against each other to win a contract to have their own gig in Las Vegas.

As well as Sean and other Mob members from no.4, Moose, Camille from 2, Andie also from 2, and Jenny from 2 and 4 and other familiar faces as well as new and equally as entertaining characters such as Chad, we are given an a great soundtrack, so if nothing else you could watch it as a really long music video. I love the music to these films.

Although the storyline is very light, the movie is packed with exciting dance routines, snappy dialogue and is another feel good film in this deservedly successful series. I own Step Up's 1,2 and 4, this is my favourite film franchise and I will buy this too. I literally can't wait to see 6 when it is released. This is not high art by anyone's standards, but it is a really fun and nice way to spend a hour or so, and you would have to be pretty hard hearted it you don't feel slightly better for doing so.

Watched all the step up movies from the very start 1&2 are good but not great 3&4 are the best 2 in my opinion they have a more intriguing storyline this one on the other hand wasn't the best it's quite a plain and boring storyline compared to the rest

I love these movies. As many other people have mentioned, the makers of the franchise should have made it more of a storyline and not stuffed Step Up 5 full of so many dance routines that don't seem so natural. The ending scene is one of my favorites of the entire movie.

I gave this 4 stars for it not being my favorite of the franchise, but ended giving it a full 5 stars, for the seller. I ordered this movie on May 14, 2015 from the amazon.co.uk site, & it arrived here in the US today, May 22, 2015. It was so much faster than the American site.

Amazing, love the film and now have the complete set, so pleased that they bring some of the old characters back into it. I love that there is a lot of dance competitions in this film as there aren't many in the others. Wish they would bring one out where all the original characters like Nora, Tyler, Chase were in it

Would recommend seller
