A quick glance at the reviews on here suggest this is a slightly decisive show. For what it's worth, I loved it and found it similar in tone and content to Macks previous two stand up DVDs.

The main show runs for just 63 minutes but is a breakneck, fast paced, energetic blur of hilarious gags. There's an option to play a "non-swearing" version of the show which does exactly what it says on the tin really - the same gig with the expletives bleeped out. There's plenty of them too, this being a more shouty, sweary version of Lee Mack than you'll usually see on TV. A bit closer to the bone as well as a few of the crowd get a bit of a kicking - all in good fun though.

The only extra is the obligatory behind the scenes doc which runs for 20 minutes and is relatively interesting although mostly joke free.

Was really looking forward to this as have enjoyed his work previously. Instead I was very disappointed. Not so much funny as a crotchety bloke yelling at a room full of people. Just found the laughter pretty thin on the ground in this DVD.

well I had high expectations for this when I brought it of here. I loved anything from him and his last DVd had me in such a laughing fit I had to pause and take a break cos my sides was hurting so much. I love him on tele on 'would I lie to u'
but this DVD isn't that good. I watched it once and straight after receiving it. I have to say it isn't as good as his other work. it didn't make me laugh as much as I wanted it too. still adore him but......meh.

the DVD itself was brand new and arrived very early.

Fantastic live show. The energy Lee puts into each performance night after night on tour is incredible. Watched this show in Bournemouth last night and he had the audience in tears (of laughter) from start to finish. 5 Star show!!

It pains me to leave such a low scoring review but this DVD is not up to Lee Macks usual high standard. His previous tour was much funnier, so much so we went to see him twice.
It is funny in places but I just exepected more from him and I thought it was quite short as well.
Lee has always been behind really big names like Peter Kay and I hope he stays there because he'll be much better for it away from the really large commercial pressure that arena tours bring. Kay, Bishop, Mc Intyre and co all suffer from the same problem - by appealing to the masses they suffer from being not that funny.

I've always been a big fan of Lee Mack. His two previous stand up DVD's were hilarious and Not Going Out has become one of my favourite sitcoms so I had high hopes for his latest offering, but unfortunately it just didn't live up to expectations.

It starts off slow and doesn't really pick up at any point. There are some decent jokes in here, but nowhere near as many as you'd expect, and none of the quality of his previous stand up shows. It mostly seems to feature Lee interacting with the audience, which is usually a strong part of his act but even that seems a little flat this time round.

I can't recall any particularly memorable jokes or bits from this, bar the interaction with a lady called Flo which manages to stray from playful to cringe-worthy and creepy unfortunately.

Lee is capable of so much better but this seems really rushed. He mentions during the encore that this series of Not Going Out will probably be the last and I can't help but wonder whether the time he's spent writing the sitcom has taken time away from his stand up and that is what has resulted in the poor standard of HtRM.
