Product Description

Rediscover all three adrenaline filled feature films from The Mummy franchise in this newly packaged trilogy, now with UV.

The Mummy: In 1925, in the Sahara Desert, a group of treasure hunters stumble on a 3,000 year old tomb and the mummified incarnation of an Egyptian priest out for revenge: As punishment for killing Pharaoh Seti and sleeping with his mistress, Egyptian priest Imhotep was mummified alive and cursed. But in 1923 he is inadvertently resurrected by treasure hunters and must be stopped before he can wreak his final vengeance on the world.

The Mummy Returns: The mummified body of Imhotep is transported to a museum in London. Once again he wakes and so begins a new campaign of rage and terror.

The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor: Taking off the wraps once more, but this time the action moves to China for round three of the Mummy adventure. For 2,000 years the ruthless Chinese Dragon Emperor (Jet Li) and his vast army of warriors have been frozen in time, cast in clay, waiting for their moment to rise again. When young archaeologist Alex O'Connell (Luke Ford) is duped into bringing the ancient warlord back to life, he soon realises he has to call in the only people he knows with experience and knowledge of how to battle the undead - his parents, father Rick (Brendan Fraser) and mother Evelyn (Maria Bello). As the emperor attempts to re-unite with his massed warriors and finally fulfil his dream of world domination, Alex and his family, along with mystical, high-kicking sorceress Zi Juan (Michelle Yeoh) and a rival cast of undead, have to pull out all the stops to keep the evil tyrant from achieving his ends.

I love the first two mummy's, but the third was a huge let down, I mean the yetis were awful, but for £6.99 i can't complain. The picture quality plus surround sound in all three films are perfect so if you love your Blu-ray then this box-set is a must. This edition comes in one Blu-ray case with three discs, the original box-set was large, so if you haven't got much room on your shelf's, then this would do nicely. Plus comes with a UV copy for all three films.

THE MUMMY TRILOGY [1999/ 2001/2008] [3 Film Collection] [Blu-ray + Digital ULTRAVIOLET] Rediscover all three adrenaline filled feature films from The Mummy franchise in this newly packaged trilogy.

The Mummy [1999] In 1925, in the Sahara Desert, a group of treasure hunters stumble on a 3,000 year old tomb and the mummified incarnation of an Egyptian priest out for revenge: As punishment for killing Pharaoh Seti and sleeping with his mistress, Egyptian priest Imhotep was mummified alive and cursed. But in 1923 he is inadvertently resurrected by treasure hunters and must be stopped before he can wreak his final vengeance on the world.

The Mummy Returns [2001] Ten years after the events of the first film, Rick [Brendan Fraser] and Evelyn [Rachel Weisz] O'Connell are settled in 1935 London, where they are raising their son. When a chain of events finds the corpse of Imhotep [Arnold Vosloo] resurrected, the O'Connells go on a desperate race to save the world from unspeakable evil and to rescue their son before it is too late.

The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor [2008] Taking off the wraps once more, but this time the action moves to China for round three of the Mummy adventure. I'm a big fan of the 1st installment so got the trilogy on bluray since it was on sale for the price of one. All movies transferred very well from DVD to blu-ray with great detail, color & sound. I was afraid that wouldn't be the case, especially because the special effects in the 2nd one were so horrible (especially the Scorpion King). The 3rd installment transferred well- too bad the plot didn't transfer well from script to screen (hence my 4/5 star).

Yes. I enjoyed this. It is very convenient getting the 3 films in one and being able to watch them when you want to. I find that the plots and happenings are clearer that way. I thought the general storyline was quite strong. Anybody who likes Indiana Jones and possibly into Egyptology would like this. To me, it was quite watchable and also a good price paid for it. Subtitles very helpful. Picture quality clear.

Always loved the Mummy films but the third one always felt like a disappointment as the original lady actor wasn't in it.. Such a shame but otherwise they all follow a trend and I'm glad they haven't made any more since.. Was left in a nice place and are always good for a watch.. At the price of the set even better as well considering they are on blu ray :)

Brilliant fun. I know I'm a little unusual, but I liked all three of these. Even though third might have been better titled "Tomb of the Undead Golem" or some such. Sure, like with any fun great trilogy, the first one can score more points for originality or freshness, but I liked all three nonetheless.

In other trilogies/series with similar plot devices, they often disappear from my purchase list as soon as "annoying/cut offspring/kid" get's introduced. They amazingly managed to make it work here and develope.

Do I agree that Rachel Weisz really should have accepted the offer and done the third movie too? Yes! But Maria Bello is a competent and beautiful actress, so little lost there.

At the moment, the whole trilogy is ten quid. On BLU-RAY. BARGAIN!
