As a huge fan of the transporter movie franchise I just had to add this tv spin off to my collection and I'm so glad I did. Chris Vance proves his worth in the lead role and Francois Berleand who reprises his role from the films as inspector Tarconi is as amusing as ever. Also the character of Dieter is a worthy addition. Every episode is action packed, fast paced and full of tongue in cheek humour. If you like escapist testosterone fuelled entertainment than you will love this. Can hardly wait for season two which is being helmed by the former show runner of the x files.. enough said.

This is the Transporter TV series. If you liked the movies you will probably like this. It does not have a UK release, probably due to frequent swearing and most episodes having hot babes get their boobs out. This has probably more appeal to lads wanting action & hot babes a-plenty.

This Blu-Ray played fine on my Standard UK Blu-Ray player so it is Region B or Region Free.

The Transporter The Series as it is known stems from the movie franchise which starred Jason Statham in the leading role of Frank Martin who is an ex-special Forces operative toping up his personal bank account by earning extra cash being a courier delivery man as the title tells us - taking a 'package' from 'A'2'B' and getting paid for it. There are of course 'incidents' along the way to keep him occupied that makes him earn his money.
It would not be a series it this did not happen.
The TV Series is a good timing as The Transporter Refuelled is now at a cinema near you which I have seen and found it 'very glam, smart and stylish not forgetting luxury yachts, private jets, rich infused parties', and set on the French Riviera.
The TV Series is set in France with scenes filmed in Canada and Germany which adds to the viewing interest. I give The Transporter The Series Four stars because of the Glam and Style it brings with it. I do believe there is a season two - I look forward with interest.

A hidden gem that all fans of the film series should get. Understand series 2 in production, so much to look forward to. You will not be disappointed. Outstanding driving sequences and stunts, engaging plots, believable characters.

Fantastic series. The transporter does not disappoint. Fantastic action, brilliant actors and each episode a different story. They also have stories in different countries too. It doesn't have a bad episode in my opinion. I enjoyed it so much on channel 5, I decided to buy it. Australian blurays work on our players and I am thankful to the seller because I would not have this to enjoy, without them selling it.

It was worth the money. I just wished they would get it on instant video.
