As an Eastwood fan this was a no brainer - update some titles onto Blu-ray and check out the stuff I hadn't seen. On paper it's a great collection, packed solidly...but...nothing here is remastered. So in comparison to my DVD's, there really isn't much difference in quality - it seems the movies have simply been recycled onto Blu-Ray, from a DVD print by Warner Brothers.

I own other Eastwood Blu-Rays, for example: Escape From Alcatraz (Paramount), Thunderbolt and Lightfoot (MGM) and of course the Spaghetti Western trilogy with Hang 'em High (United Artists). All are very good quality HD prints, what you might expect from a Blu-ray, but the majority here from the Warner Brothers collection is standard DVD quality. I've even checked in comparison my Unforgiven and A Perfect World DVD's; only the sound is a little clearer.

This is subjective of course and admittedly I am a the sort of buff (or geek if you will), to notice these things. But I expected more from this Warner Brothers collection considering Eastwoods long association with them, because nothing stands out visually here, to shout about.

19 of the 20 movies in this set are Region Free.
Million Dollar Baby, The Eastwood Factor: Extended Version and Eastwood Directs: The Untold Story are all Region B.
I purchased this on sale for about $3 per disc for the 19 movies that will play in the US.
I prefer this set over the US set in terms of the titles included as well as the disc-friendly packaging.
Bargain :)

For all Clint Eastwood fans(including me) this is a wonderful box-set with some of the best films ever made.

My only negative is, I don't understand why 'Dirty Harry' and 'Magnum Force' have been included, because most people have the 'Dirty Harry Collection' their are a lot more Eastwood films out there. But still a great set of films and worth every penny.

Anybody who likes classic films by Clint Eastwood has more than likely seen all of these brilliant films, but it`s great to see this Blue Ray collection of them all together in one box. To watch these wonderful films once again in such superior quality only adds to the overall enjoyment. £75 might seem a lot but it works out at less than £4 a film which is terrific overall value. Packaging is excellent and picture quality superb. I bought this at a higher price elsewhere and I`m very pleased overall with the product. Also includes 2 superb Clint Eastwood documentaries. Region FREE and will play on any Blue Ray machine worldwide. Money well spent. The films are:

I already knew that I would like the Clint Eastwood package. The best of it is that two of the best WWII films 'Kelly's Heroes' and 'Where Eagles Dare' are there for viewing with younger members of the family as there is nothing to be really offended about - and they don't use the ubiquitous 'F' word at all. What a pleasant relief from reality.

A great collection of the legends films,but i will knock a ster of because i think the set should have been in 2 volumes,this set containing all his early work,the spaghetti westerns and Which Way films,also Play Misty.Vol 2 could have focused on his 80,s onwards output.
Having said that this is a great collection of some of Clints great movies.2 good bonus docs also add a nice addition to this marvelous set.
