This is an interesting documentary style film looking into the more modern approach to burlesque. A look behind the scenes of some of the more unique artists who take this style of entertainment to the extremes. Not for the prudish but may interest the more broadminded.

this is an amazing insight into the unique freaks and geeks that inhabit the burlesque world. Having been a fan of Mat Frazer for a few years I was curious who else inhabit the burlesque world. I was not disappointed. I would have liked to see a few more of the acts involved as well as them being interviewed. But the thing that comes across most is the camaraderie of this strange beautiful family of misfits.

Incredible and eye opening.
Tearing away the mask of glitz and glamour, this exposes the murky underbelly of the business.
There's more to this than meets the eye and I can guarantee you'll get more than an eyeful in some scenes.

Well this is not what I expected by a long shot. I have a friend who's woman does burlesque and she does not go as far as these people on stage in her act.
Now don't get me wrong I'm no prude I've seen strippers, sex shows and porn... But let me say this to me a guy sitting down on a bottle and inserting it into his back passage then standing up lifting the bottle is NOT burlesque, nor is a woman doing a strip and the end of her act is laying an egg from her vagina and eating it. If these acts are burlesque then so is Sticky Vicki's of firing ping pong balls from her vagina. All in all this pure s***e.
