This 5-film box set is, on the whole, very good fun - and for under £11 on Blu-ray it's a bargain!

The saga concerns the adventures of various hard-working (often European) criminal gangs, usually headed by psychotic masterminds, who invent amazing plots to make their fortunes. Yet, notwithstanding their efforts (which have obviously taken them months, if not years, to devise and come to fruition), their plans are always foiled ... by the same lone cop! This dastardly police officer refuses to give these genius-level law-breakers a chance. Indeed, so determined is he to prevent their success that he often operates completely outside his jurisdiction (in different States in the USA, and in altogether different countries around the world). This cop, who's neither particularly clever nor a great fighter, seems to possess one super-hero type power: he's virtually invulnerable!

I really enjoyed the first film. I thought the second was even better. The third was not quite as good. The fourth was great. The fifth was a bit of a let down.

For action fans, especially those who aren't rooting for the bad guy, this is an excellent collection.

What a great box set I recommend this to everyone as you get the first 4 films plus a 90 min bonus DVD
With lots of extras all for around £8.00 as a good day to die hard is around £10.00 on its own.
Even though I saw the 1st die hard 25 years ago I still enjoyed it but if you love the series then this is for
You

Excellent collection. Good quality picture with many extras, including commentaries, featurettes and the documentary "Decoding Die Hard".

The only issue I have is with the audio. I use headphones when watching films. The dialogue volume for the films is quite low compared to the effects. Thus, if I increase the volume to enable the dialogue to be heard, the effects are deafeningly loud. This means I have to have the remote control at hand to alter the volume at regular intervals throughout the films. I did not have this issue with my old Die Hard DVD collection.
