I must agree with the other reviewers here and say that this film has nothing to recommend it apart from the closing credits. Not that they were exceptional in any way, I was just delighted when I saw the film was over. I try to watch a film all the way through, even if its bad, so that I can try and find some redeeming feature, but this one just kept getting worse. And at times I didn't think that was possible, but it was.

Save yourself some time and brain cells and don't watch this film. Stare at a wall for 2 hours and you'll find it a more entertaining experience.

I hope I've not been too subtle in my review of this film.

I disagree with the huge factor of people claiming this film is the worst film ever made. I have seen many films a million times more boring and a lot worse than this! That doesn't mean I would ever back this useless production, it still stinks and is down there on that list of films that are not worth even watching. However I do not know why the guy from Walking dead and prison break has the roll of the killer doctor in this film. he is a good actor and its an insult to his career that he would star in this useless bore that deserves to be flushed down the pan.

The lost episode is misleading, as stated on the dvd box art people are going to think this is one of them camera found footage fakes but this isn't even anything to do with found footage what so ever.

All the torture in this film has been taken from other horror films so you'll not find anything original here.

The lost episode should have stayed lost
avoid at all cost.

Its amazing to think Michael Rooker the normally brilliant star of The Walking Dead and Cliffhanger made and starred in this abomination.
As a horror it never works as for a start its NOT SCARY,you can see the jumpy moments coming a mile off and there is never any gripping moments and for a horror thats real bad.
The acting is horrific and a two year old could act better to be honest and i'm sorry Mr Rooker thats you included.
I'm a big fan of found footage films but the problem is a great film comes out now and then but most the time we get utter rubbish like this in the meantime as its a shame because done well we get the likes of The Blair Witch Project,Grave Encounters and The Tunnel and the incredible Rec but this film was never going to come near i'm afraid.
I managed to get to the end but less said about the ending the better as after all that drivel the end was even worse(some how).
Honestly i'd rather film myself reading a book than watch this nonsense again.

I just got done watching the release of the american version asylum of the dead. Same movie different title. I am a local and grew up just a mile from this place. It is really haunted but the things i have experienced there are more suspenseful and scarier then this movie. It was complete garbage acting but I did think it was funny how at the beginning the kids mentioning sneaking in one more last time before it became an attraction to the outside world, i remember my friends saying the same thing. Over all I watched this movie for my own personal enjoyment due to I got to see a part of my childhood. For entertainment STAY AWAY! Go spend money on a movie that has good acting. good plot, and more excitement.

Well, its full of enthusiasm, people are acting. I haven't attempted to film a shaky cam film myself, so there should be some attrition as I feel bad about dismissing it actually no it is absolute s*** .

terrible horror movie..... facts about the location are not even correct, the acting is terrible and the past/present switch they do well is unnecessary its like someone took a movie and the sequel edited them together but took out everything good to make a balance of the two for a standard movie time. Also the title...kinda irrelevant....
just don't bother watch grave encounters/ g.e 2 or episode 50 way way better movies.
