I've always had fond memories of this film from when I was a young teenager,
There are so many reasons why this is a brilliant film,
For a start it is very well written, there is the usual mixture of
drama,action and humour that you'd expect from a Jackie Chan film
but I must say that this has to be one of his best.

The action and slapstick humour are so well done that the action is
blisteringly fast (due mainly to jackies stunts)and the humour although
a little too innocent for a film about stolen diamonds and gang fights,
is always funny (again mainly due to Jackie Chan).

Furthermore the sheer scale of some of the stunts is amazing, from jackie
taking on a whole gang in one long fight scene, using everything from
chairs to pinball tables as a weapon, to the finale involving a hovercraft
going rogue through the local populace.

This is a film you can enjoy on your own or with the family, being a Chan
film its not too graphic and the jokes are as I mentioned so innocent that
even the youngest of children would laugh at jackies comedic expressions alone.

Now onto the actual dvd release,
The release quality is really why I havent given this 4 stars, If it was
of the same quality as for instance the HK legends release of project A

Must of you must have seen this movie by now. Jackie Chan's character (Keung) travels to New York to visit his uncle. It doesn't take long until Keung gets in trouble. While Jackie Chan deals with the trouble makers you'll for example see some great martial arts scenes and witness a Lamborghini getting it's wings cut off.

The picture is overly bright. The details are good but some few shots are partially blurry (mostly the background). Overall the picture quality is mediocre for a bluray release, the transfer could be better, but it's still in HD and worth an upgrade for every fans of the movie.

There's no extra material and the english dub is the only option.

Jackie chan rocks in this movie, the stunts are almost 99% real ! ONLY Jackie, Tony Jaa & late Bruce Lee can perform these stunts in real life situations.

As far as video quality concern picture was Good but not Jaw dropping. English DTS HD MA is present but There is NO ENGLISH Subtitles. also there are No Extras.

This is A MUST buy movie for Jackie Fans ! You will be NOT disappointed!

It's not 'Police Story' good but it's better than 'The Medallion'. I love Jackie Chan films and I am happy to have this one in my collection. His films are quite varied in quality and so if you are expecting something particular you may not get it. I'm trying to think of a JC film that it is similar to...it is perhaps on a par with Mr Nice Guy. So if you like that then you won't mind this.

Not one of my favourite Jackie Chan films but still good entertainment. The motorcycle gang is very eighties and reminded me of a Troma film but the stunts as you would expect are excellent. I just grew up on his work in Hong Kong and this doesn't compare.
