The first battery I received wouldn't charge at at all. It was replaced, and the second one does charge but is failing after less than 12 months. The original battery in my 1600 lasted more than 5 years.

I do not think it is an original Nokia battery, it does not hold a charge as long as my original did, and although it shows a hologram on the photo, it does not have one on the battery sent to me. I think it is a copy. Having said that, it does work, but for how long, time will tell.

Firstly, when i received this I realize this was not original as the Nokia sticker was stuck on bent as well as the green sticker which has a code on it. Further inspection led to me seeing scratches on the godly metal part showing it wasn't new either.

With respect to charge, I have to charge my phone every 2 days with this battery compared with only weekly with my other battery that came with the phone.
