This is the second time I have bought this game and it is even better than the first time. There is more content to keep you occupied for longer and with the Undead game included it makes this buy a real bargin. If you are thinking of getting this game but don't know what to expect think GTA but with bigger maps and smother controls in the Wild West. I really hope there are more of these to come as this is the best game in my collection.

Picked this up slightly late to the party but the benefit here is the additional content with the game of the year edition this adds the legends and killers extra maps for multiplayer, additional weapons and outfits, undead nightmare quite a fun twist in both single and multiplayer mode.

Gameplay is very much on the theme of GTA, but it's more than just a copy of that with a western theme, though as the franchise has move forward GTA V being newer does have a bit more polish still this is graphically strong and rewards longer play time. Starting off you're introduced to the basics of horse riding and shooting I would certainly suggest sticking to the storyline for a while rather than wandering off early on to explore the area (which is quite vast) Horse riding takes a bit of practice but you'll soon pick it up in case you're worried about travelling around a large distance without cars and planes you can set up camp then fast travel to locations you've been too, use a stagecoach and the horse riding speeds are a bit quicker than real life.

There is quite a lot to do here initially you are limited in skills and weapons somewhat slow to start give it a few hours to get up to speed. Other areas included some excellent side quests and gambling. Depending on how you play you can decide to be a good guy or a more dubious character this is reflected in the "honour" system this isn't fixed and can go up and down good deeds make the player more favourable to citizens and lawmen, whilst shady characters benefit from bonuses from outlaws. Fame can't go down only up and you get some perks for higher rankings up to the level of legend.

Very enjoyable game a bit slow off the mark in the early stages but picks up speed nicely once you have done a few missions.

Just got this today, top quality game(s) well worth the money.
I'm sure many people have already have played RDR but the add on is a nice little touch to a otherwise perfect game.
GO GET IT!!!!

Not a long review but just a message to say this is the best game I have ever played on any consol. Endless hours of fun riding around the old west and Mexico doing all sorts of activities including bounty hunting, catching thieves, hunting animals and playing numerous games like texas hold'em, horse shoes and black jack. The story is fantastic, the open world is huge and scenery breath taking. Also with this edition you get the Undead nightmare which is also great fun to play although not as long as the main. Anyway if you haven't got this game go and get it, you will not be disappointed.

Fantastic game, the best Rockstar have made since GTA San Andreas in my opinion, and one of the best games I've played in a while. At first I wasn't too pleased that rockstar had jumped on the zombie bandwagon as, let's face it, it is getting really old.. but I was pleasantly surprised the find the expansion a lot of fun and made the game fresh.

A must buy for a fan of sandbox adventures, or anyone who has played Rockstar's games of the past. You won't be disapointed!

This is also for me the second time i've bought this game.When i played it the first time i was blown away by the beautifull world and the characters that inhabit it.
The amount of detail that is in this game is enormous, no matter where u go, there is always a ton of things to see and do.
And with the incusion of all the DLC an the great Undead Nightmare story, this is realy a MUST BUY for any gamer who loves a realy GREAT game.
Not to forget the great multiplayer-modes, with the exelent Freeroam-mode.
With this package u are for sure going to have many,many hours of fun!

Buy this game.

I heard about how great the game was from a friend who played the original release and having watched some gameplay of the game and of its multiplayer and undead nightmare DLC, I simply had to get it. At £25 that's an absolute steal for one of the greatest PS3 games of all time along with its wildly popular side ons.

Having played it for some weeks now, what can I say?
It plays like a charm. The game is even better than what I saw and heard on gameplays and reviews.
Best PS3 game ever? This is a serious contender.
